Installation

An outdoor garden installation that brings the hidden world of mycelium networks into the open, Miscommunication challenges our perceptions of reality and truth. White tendrils, unnaturally emerging from the ground, symbolise the often invisible communication channels that connect and influence us—much like the mycelium linking plant roots beneath the surface. As these ghostly forms rise, they evoke questions about the unseen forces shaping our world, the overload of information we receive, and the difficulty in discerning what is real.
This installation invites viewers to explore the tension between the visible and invisible, the natural and unnatural, and ultimately, to question what truth really means in an age of overwhelming connectivity. Shown during Open Studios 7-22nd September 2024
